Mission Statement

It is the mission of COMPASS UT to serve and advocate for each individual contracted with, as though they were a family member - to put one self in their shoes - to work tirelessly to ensure their rights, opportunities, and well being.

Keys to Quality Support Coordination

Be Accessible.
It is COMPASS UT policy to be available by phone from 7 am to 7 pm everyday. This includes being emotionally accessible - caring enough to really connect with individuals and families so that they feel comfortable confiding in you.

Be Knowledgeable.
Training is more than completing 30 hours of required annual training. Obtaining knowledge is an attitude that is continually on the lookout for resources, information, and ideas that may help individuals and families.

Be Prompt.
Do not procrastinate. Complete all paperwork before required deadlines. Follow up on all issues with speed.

Be Accurate.
Continually review and adhere to the Support Coordination Standards.

Be Enthusiastic.
Have a positive attitude and praise others for a job well done. A positive attitude can affect others motivation in their job and increase positive outcomes for individuals we serve.

Be an Extra Miler.
Going the extra mile brings personal satisfaction in a job well done.
